Dribbble Blog: New Feature: Buckets →

Cool idea, but it would be great if Prospects could also talk (leave comments).

    dribbble:

There’s an amazing variety of shots uploaded on Dribbble every day, and it’s our continual challenge to make it easier to discover new and interesting content. Today we’ve launched Buckets to help the community participate in curating Dribbble.

Buckets are simply collections of shots that any…

Download Naked Twitter
No sidebar at all! The only links I use are replaced with icons at the top.
No hover cards, hover tips or lists.
Adjusted some inconsistent padding here and there.
Be sure to check out my Naked YouTube extension as well.

  4. Schlafwandler

Der Schlafwandler or Sleepwalker, a very inspiring design for this piece of home construction, from Bauwerk, a German construction materials company. Would be perfect to see a working sample on their Website though. The bad thing is that their site doesn’t have a proper standard design.

  5. Leopard 10.5.7 Bluetooth Issues Solution

    From GeekStyle:

I have been struggling with this since I upgraded to 10.5.7 and haven’t found a working solution, until I recently tried this and it worked like a magic:
    sudo killall -HUP blued
You only need to open up a Terminal.app window and run this command. This command sends a HUP (hangup) signal to bluetooth daemon, that actually is a soft-reset command. It causes blued to reload the configuration and brings your bluetooth device back to life.

  6. Weather on Desktop

This script is useful for placing a dynamic weather widget on the MacOS X desktop, using GeekTool shell and Lynx text browser:

    Lynx.command -dump http://printer.wunderground.com/auto/printer/global/stations/40754.html|awk '/Cond/ && !/Fore/ {for (i=2; i<=10; i++) printf $i " " }'

Find all the codes including temperature script here.

To use your own city, go to wunderground.com, find your city and at the left side then find the location under Recent Locations. The above URL example uses the city of Tehran (40754.html), so replace it with your own city code.

Special thanks to Irishstu. Check his website for more GeekTool scripts.

  8. Blackberry Storm vs. iPhone

    iphoneclip:

TUAW’s Chris Ullrich speaks about Blackberry Storm vs. iPhone. Similar to iPhone but is it really iPhone Killer, or just another shiny iPhone looking mobile?

iPhone Killer is a funny term used for any touch screen iPhone wannabe. All these shiny competitor devices have no proper apps around.
